I have conflicting answers here...Here's the question.

Which of the following statements is true of a digital signature?

a. it verifies the identity of the person.
b. it encrypts the contents of a message.

The answer in exam cram was "a"

When I got a question similar to this one on exam drill the correct answer was that it
"verifies the document was not tampered with"....

A digital signature encrypts the contents of a message.
A digital certificate verifies your identity.

Lots of their books are rushed to print. I also don't like their style much . . . seem to focus soley on exam questions and not understanding things. I rarely use them.

the last book i actually bought wasn't even a cert book, it was html goodies and I was really satisfied with it.. It is a bit of an easy read and more for beginners, but really fun to read.. I'm actually taking the i-Net+ exam in 3 1/2 hrs.. had exam cram and exam drill.. so I really feel I should do well.
