I do not post very often, but was compelled when I saw the Syngress Press book recommendation. I obviously can't say whether this book is good or bad as it is not released yet.
BUT, I have bought two books in the past from this publisher. One, A+. Two, CCNP Remote Access. I felt both were a waste of money. I was very dissatisfied with the A+ book, and the only reason that I bought the remote access book was due to the fact that I found it for 60% off. I still ended up buying the Cisco Press book anyway.
My advise, make a trip to the book store, buy a cup of coffee and flip through the book before you buy. Print out the study guide from this site and see how well the objectives are explained.
Buyer Beware. Just my 2 cents.

thank you guys. I have read the review on that Syngress book at Amazon too. Seem good but I DO NOT like Syngress at all. I bought a Designing Windows 2000 Director Services. I didn't read the book at all because it is so suck. That's I wonder if anyone know some other source for Solaris 8 out there. Thanks again guys, I will search onnnnnnn...

The books from the Sun SA classes are the best study materials. I passed the both exams by studying these two books. I hope this help. Good luck.

The Syngress Media is only good for the MCSE Windows 2000 Core 4 boxed set...
otherwise Sybex has an all around great reputation....
They were excellent for Oracle OCP, and CCNA... I haven't read any others though!

Anyone have any of the Official Sun books from the SA classes? DVO?
I want to get some of those books and self study. If someone wants to trade...
I will trade them dumps for MCDBA, MCSE, Oracle OCP, CCNA or SUN 7 SA that I have.
