WIN ME Shutdown Problem
WIN ME
All updated...
I try to shut down the computer but it hangs at a black screen, dont see anything like: its now safe to shutdown your computer, or like, please wait while your computer is shutting down..
In safe mode, everything is fine and it shuts down perfectly. If someone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it
Thanks

Did you download the crotocal updates and patches at MS' Update site? This is a fairly common problem. After I d/l's the patches and installed them the problem was fixed. If this doesn't help, let me know.

Thanks for the input guys. I will go through all the suggestions and let ya know if it worked. I already updated windows...
and played around with a bunch of other things too.. but what is kinda wierd is that the problem doesnot exist in safemode that means that there is some sort of a driver or vxd that is causing the problem.
Thanks for the help once again...
