 Access certification?
Howdy folks,
I ran across a position for an Access Developer requiring an "Access Certification," but the only Access cert I can think of is the MOUS one, which doesn't even begin to cover database development, especially not for a job requiring 5+ years of ground-up development experience.
Did I miss something? Or do I just assume that they are off-base? After all, the actual job is something a very junior-level developer could do anyway.
But if there is a good Access cert out there, I might as well tack it on.

MOUS is the only one I know of too. Based on the job description I'd say it's probably talking about this since it's such a simple job. MCDBA is another possibility, but unlikely since it doesn't really cover access.

That's what I thought. It's a simple job, but they seem to think it's an immense one. Manufacturing experience???
Sounds like the client from hell -- I sure don't want the gig!

I believe is MCSD because it required a lot of programming...
 but most programmer get white hair early

Answering idiot questions gives me gray hair! At least I always win when I argue with the computer (eventually.) I've earned every last one of them, I just wish they wouldn't insist in sticking straight up where they can glint in the florescent light.
Database programming is a little different: if you have a solid data model, the rest is icing. Be it chocolate or lemon, the cake is still vanilla underneath.
