If you say you cannot afford to pay for your Cisco exam, maybe you cannot afford not to pay for your Cisco exam. The amount of money that it will cost you will come back to you many times over. If you were to take a job without the cert and have them pay, you're going to start at a much lower wage than if you go ahead and get the cert. In the long run, if you go ahead and get the cert first, you'll be much better off. Whatever you decide, good luck with the cert and the job search.
