hi all real life problem here. I have a 2511 access router with 8 async int for dial in access to our network. Im not familiar with this router. It turns out this morning people are not able to dial in. when i do a show int command all async int are down ans so is serial. However ethernet is up. Is this supposed to be this way???? I did a no shut on 1 interface and it still stayed down.

The funny thing is when i call over the phone i get a connection and also from the ofice i can dial in. However employees from other states and locations cant.

does anybody know how to troubleshoot????? I called pacbell and they say everything is up....

what a dillema................

I answered with some questions in the CCNP forum.

When you say you dial from work, do you mean you are getting a successful modem connection?
