I know most of you have heard this question million and one times, but I need to ask this.... What MCSE 2000 books are the best out there today that explains everything in details, its easy to understand, and really fun/interesting to read. Thanks for your time and effort for responding.

Thumbs up

I use the Alan R. Carter Windows 2000 MCSE Study System, I find it easy to digest. It has the core 4 exams too. I also use Exam Cram Win2k book. Just my view, others my differ.

Take care for now....

I strongly agree with Daviet. The Microsoft Press books are much better these days. Go straight to the source.

You said you wanted something fun/easy to read.In that case the Microsoft books are not for you.I am using Alan Carter's MCSE studysytem book and the Examcram book. The examcram book is easy to read and small enough to read on the train/bus without getting in the way. Both books seem pretty good but i will wait till the 14th of this month to see if it is enough.
Wish me luck

If your still confused the best advice I can suggest is to spend a little time and go to the book store and go through the books. MS have great books for IT professionals, but if your just starting out they are a bit hard to read. Check out the books suggested and make your own opinion.

Exclamation MS Press Books

Just a word of warning on the MS Press Books...search for MCSE Training Kit on Search Microsoft.com for any corrections to the training kits. I recently printed several pages of corrections for the W2K Pro Training Kit. You can usually hit any publisher site for a list of corrections or to report a mistake.
