For all the people in the Va Tidewater area. This is a little synopsis of the Daily Press tech Job fair today.

I wasn't as big as I expected it only about 20 or so firms. Gateway provided the biggest opportunities with the possibility to be hired full time or part time as a tech.

So Apply to Gateway

Next:

I went there full of confidence and looking for a info about the current trends. This is what I got. If you are not an MCSE hit the ROAD. Which disappoints me a bit because I really want to pursue my CNE. I am probably taking my 5.1 Admin test next month. Looks like I am gonna have to jump tracks and join the band wagon (DAMN I really like Novell).

So for the people in this area looking for a job pursue your MCSE if you want to compete in this market.

Info scoop for others the US Gov is probably gonna dump Win 2000 and switch to Linux or Unix within the next year or so.

Also on the Law Enforcement side the GOV is hiring a total 600+ federal agents for all agencies (USSS, US Marshall, FBI etc...) get your apps in asap. This info was not at the Job Fair I picked it up from some agents I know. But it is solid info.

Any Q's post'em or email me I will see what I can do.

Hope this helps well it is Miller time.

Cheers!!!!!!
