Hey Crew:
777 - but a pass is a pass. Most of the exam
I took was concerned with Trusts, domain models
and more trusts - usually accompanyed by those
cluttered exhibits. (I simplified the exhibits
by rediagramming them on scratch paper.) Also
questions pertaining to Wins, DHCP, replication,
performance monitor, accounts, policies, netware
and a healthy sample of fault tolerance goodies.
The fault tolerance questions were vaguely worded
: make sure you are solid on Raid O vs 1 vs 5.
Also, stay calm, confident and focused during all this last minute angst. Keep your eye on the prize and can do it. (If I did, you can.)
I preppred using Exam Drill (Thanks guys), Petri
(let's hope he's back for 2000) and checking out
a few dumps. I looked at the dumps only to get
a sampling of the kinds of topics being asked, and
as far as the test I took, I don't think dumping alone would have done me much good. You really need to have a handle on how Trusts and Domains
work and Exam Drill and Petri were very good for
putting you in that mind set. (Also, ExamDrill
has a good sampling of the other questions asked
on this test) I should also note that the ExamDrill authors - Bob Reedy and his test pilot
JDStephens were very helpful and accessible. I'm
hoping they put out a product for 2000. (Hey guys,
how about taking a page from Petri and including
in depth explanations for all your answers; this is the only complaint I have regarding your product, albeit minor.)
Thanks to Freak, Spid and all the other swell mentors and contributors and their indefatigable support and unwaveringly supportive attitudes.
The great thing about this site is that it is frequented by people that are as nice as they are
technically savy. I appreciate all your help more than you know.
Okay guys, will rap with you all over in next
frontier (2000). Best of luck to my 11th hour alumni. You can do it!
