Hello Friends!
I passed CCNA2.0 last month with a score of 870/1000. I have hands on experiance with Cisco 1600 Routers and 2500 router plus catalyst 1900.
Now I am planning for CCNP but I am confused about which exam should be taken first. So, friends please help me!
Next, I am an Electronics Engineering Student and Still I have 3 more semesters in college.
Its a well reputated college in INDIA and even Cisco Systems itself comes here For campus placement. So please suggest a good career path for me.

Hi Shardul!
Switching and Routing should be your first and second exams. The order between these two is not that important. From what I hear Routing is tougher, though; so you probably will want to go with Switching first.
#3 should be Remote
#4 should be Support

Thanks Creamy!
Any Suggestions for preparation of CCNP switching Exam?
Is it more tough than CCNA2.0, because in that exam everything(almost) was totally new and now after passing that exam I know atleast something about Cisco Switches?

I'm only just starting my studying for the Switching exam myself, but from what I hear cisco Press course books (not the study guides)are the way to go for all the CCNP exams.
I'm using cisco Press BCMSN. After that I will gauge my understanding using Boson. If I do not-so-well, I will get the highly rated "ccie professional development: LAN switching" to reinforce my weak areas. Yankee, who's a trustworthy member of this board recommends it highly (also check out the reviews on Amazon)

sorry to butt in your conversation but just wanted to help out.. I am CCNP and I used the exam cram book, sybex, cisco press and out of all of them I liked the lan switching and exam cram books the most. Just read both of them and you will do fine. My toughest test was the routing one but the switching test was the easiest of all, the support test was a joke... well hope I helped and remember to get yourself boson and ccprep practice questions before you sit down for the real one. I am up CCDP and scheduled to take ccda next week... good luck to all
