Hi everyone. I feel as if I am a long standing USER because I have followed this particular forum for the last 5 months. Everyone is truly helpful and all posts are very informative. You guys have been supportive of my struggles which have been the same as those that have had the time to ask. Thanks for your guidance everyone. Currently I have failed Enterprise twice (scores- 6xx and 733 on Feb. 13th). I have purchased Exam Drill. My first fail was in Dec/2000. Do I still need to wait 14 days to TRY again???
Thanks again for all your WISDOM!!!

Yes, here is Micro$oft's policy for retaking exams:
"If you do not pass an exam the first time, you may retake it at any time. If you do not achieve a passing score a second time, you must wait at least 14 days to retake the exam a third time. A 14-day waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes".
Now you can try on Feb. 28/01. Good luck. Neil

I think you have to wait 14 days, but some people have managed to book exams earlier. I think you just have to keep trying, maybe not say that you have done this exam before.

14 days
You can schedule the test and possibly take it but Microsoft will catch the fact that you didn't wait the full 14 days. So you may think you are done and didn't wait the 14 days and get notified by MS. That would S***!!! Especially since we are down to the wire! Good Luck!

Thanks for the info and sorry I haven't said Thanks. I do appreciate the responses from everyone. I was a busy Beaver though, cramming for TCP/IP during this pressure wait. I passed on the line TCP/IP with 733 on a required mark of 733 just now. Proud, but I am still worried about Enterprise. I will be pounding all my resources and books on the weekend and Monday(NO LIFE). Writing on Tuesday...

Enterprise
I took Enterprise on Tues. passed by the skin of my teeth. And took it more than once. I used Ian's to study and had just about everyone of the questions from that on my test. I also read exam crams from front to back and took all the test in it.
Good luck!
What do you mean no life this weekend? I haven't had a life for the last six months. Hopefully after Sun. I will. I take NetEss then. I can rest for a little while then on to 2000.

911
I just came through on this, the LAST day. Studied my HEART out and nailed it with a 911. Still doubted and second guessed my knowledge and ability, but this time more confidence and assurance with the answers. THANKS once again to everyone including MLH for the moral support and encouragement

Hi bubba_joe,
First, thanks for the kind words. It's nice knowing that my posts are helping people pass these exams.
MannyD had a similar question in the tcp/ip forum, and here is how I responded......
Here are a couple of ideas to think about with respect to your elective choices.
If you are interested in databases or database administration at all, go the SQL route. You can take 70-028 to get your MCSE, then turn right around study and take the 70-029 exam to obtain your MCDBA. Not a bad route to go.
If you are not interested in databases or database administration, then I would go with Proxy. A lot of companies are using some sort of Proxy software package for their corporate Internet access, so taking Proxy isn't a bad route to go either. (That's what I took to finish out my elective path). Proxy will also count as one of your elective choices if you decide to upgrade your MCSE to the Windows 2000 MCSE track.
Exchange is also a very good elective to take.
I did not really even consider IIS, so maybe someone else can give you some insight on that elective.
Hope this helps!
