Just wanted to share the story of my interview with a company whose name I shouldnt mention, except that it looks something like @~&~.
I had the most humiliating interview with this company. I was introduced to the gentleman who would be my boss, who them proceeded to bombard me with a series of very convlouted scenario questions. No this wasnt the technical interview. (that was yet to come)This was to gauge how I would react under stress. When I asked a question in order to clarify a point, in his convoluted hypothetical scenario question, I was answered with condecending exasperation. However rude he became, I remained cool, and attempted to answer his very unclear questions. Well the interview continued in this same vein for approximately 1 hour, before 2 network engineers were brought in to give me the technical portion of the interview.
Well the engineers were much more polite, and I suppose I did OK on that portion of the interview. Although I didnt know everything they asked, I was able to answer a subnetting question correctly that the most junior engineer wasnt sure of.
What is the moral of this story? I guess it is this. (got my rejection letter yesterday)
I wouldnt want to work for a company where my boss would be such a rude, humorless, difficult person as I encountered at @~&~. I will also never forget the grilling and mistreatment I received at the hands of a company who has received my long distance business for many years.
Good luck to all of the unemployed CCNA's out there. And have a nice day.

Sounds like you had a lucky escape. Put this one down to experience and take comfort from the fact that this was probably the worst manager you will ever be likely to encounter.
Keep Smiling, the job that needs you is out there.

In my experience the ones that grill you do so to make themselves feel better about their own lack of knowledge. No one can know everything, very few problems and situations have text book solutions. It's how you handle yourself and whether the job gets done under fire that counts.
It's their loss...not yours.
