I know, it's a scary mix.
I need to setup a VPN at work in order for a few people, including myself to telecommute. Everybody except for me uses either Win9x or Win2k. Of course, I use every Unix variant I can get my hands on
I was going to use a Samba on the server that's accessed through the VPN, but I noticed that only the beta version supports Win2k authentication. Is there any other program that could be used to provide the Win2k access? We have an NT4 Server license that could be used for authentication if necessary, but I'd really rather stay with Unix (security/performance freak).

I don't know much about Win2K. Samba is the only program I know of that does such a thing, but you can try freshmeat.net or or some similar sites to maybe get some other types . . . I am sure there must be other ways of talking to computers in Unix other than by Samba.
