As far as I know there are 3 studybooks on proxy: Sybex, IDG and an orange book written by K. Ryvkin.
I choose this orange book because it got some very good reverences at Amazon.com.
After a day of study in this book I just got a headache and did not get much wiser.
Just plane masive text, with only a few pictures. And it starts immedeately with terms like: dll's and sockets asuming you have some basic knowledge.
(About me: I have minimum knowledge. besides that English is not my language.)
fortunately I could return the book at the bookstore. I bought the IDG book written by Simons instead. I've just started, but this seems like a fine book; easy language and many pictures.

Hi Jona_C
For all my MSCE's, I've used the books as followed:-
Net Ess., NT WKS, NT Server, Server for Enterprise, TCP/IP, Proxy 2.0 and Exchange 5.5 I've used Exam Prep + Exam Cram.
IIS 4.0 & IEAK 5.0 I've used IDG.
Hope this help!!
