Could someone clearly explain to me the difference between Winnt.sif and unattend.txt. I understand that you can create a unattend file using a text editor or setup manager.
Sorry, I feel kind of dumb not knowing, but I am having a hard time finding the what the difference is?
I have faith in you guys, thanks!

Gladly. The difference between unattend.txt and Winnt.sif is that you use Winnt.sif if you want to start setup using the CD-ROM drive. When running from the CD you don't have the option to add switches to the command. So to get around that you can just rename your answer file to that file name. It is vital that the name is exactly winnt.sif. Also you must have this data present in the answer file otherwise the install will not work.
[Data]
unattendedinstall = yes
msdosinitiated = 0
autopartition = 1
