Just got my notification that my voucher for sylvan foro CCDA is ready...can call and make appt monday...thinkin about friday afternoon...have been studying Osborne/Syngress book for 2 months, finished it yesterday. (I read slowly! But my comprehension has always been very good.)Now moving into practice test phase. It may seem a little superstitious, but I never practice tests till Im done with the book...took ccda practice test from the disk that came with the book and got an 86, little week in a few areas, but thats good. I have boson ccda tests, which look good, but dont have many case studies of the type I understand will be on test...just have to do my best...good luck to you others on your quests as well, ill let you know how i do!

I will be curious as well. Especially considering that you did not use any Cisco Press materials. This should be an intersting experiment. If you pass it may partially restore my faith in third party textbooks.
Best of luck,
Lawrence

Let us know. I'm studying for the CCDA right now, though I plan on reading about three books. I usually wait on the practice exams until I've read each book through once, but I highlight the items I need to focus on in yellow or orange the first time I read, take some practice exams, then read my yellow/orange highlights, and highlight those items that I haven't yet grasped in blue.
Good Luck. I usually like to take my tests first thing Monday, that way I have all weekend to study intensely.

Maybe when you write the test you might try to remember some of more ambiguous questions
Good luck Boson's test are much easier!
