Man. This friday is going to be the next CCDA exam for me. I failed the last one by two stinking questions. It really helps like....KNOWING THE STUFF! I mean. You would need to know about other IBM Servers somthing like AS400 and terminals too. Well, adivice is that most of the scores you get are from the cases. There are just few few give away questions. Other than that, READ, REMEBER, and DISTINGUISH the differnce of the cases. I took the test last time and thought that one case was the other one and got lots of wrong problems.
Hope you guys remember to take your time and dont get stuck in one problem. Any questions?
I think that the DCN is the best book.

hi friend,
pass the ccda recently...
guess i should contribute more in here to
help out...but seriously i did not get a good
help out in here while preparing ccda.
ok.. u will have four case studies which
is fsi,orchard,leviathan,eic.i am very sure.
each case study will come out and will end
to about 35-40 questions. i had 40 case study
questions.
sirchacha, becareful not the case study the most, but the rest of the questions starting
from 35-40questions.the ccna background will
help out if u have solid one. i score quite
low in routed and lan protocol sections.
i find the case study is very complex and
is different. i do not think u will get back
the same questions on your second try.
however study the concept of the design and
constraint.i have many of this in the case study. the case study have to count your
ability to made the right choice.
remember, case study is important but after
the case study questions, if u made too many
many mistakes in the questions starting from
35-40 u will be defeated in the test.
concentrate more on the internetworking technologies. those questions i have seem
some not cover in the dcn book.
the drag and drop question carry a high
mark than other questions.
i have three drag and drop. it was complicated one with 100any something...
good luck people!
this is a toughest test i taken so far.
and very challenging too.
good luck.hope to see u all pass the exams.

yah forget one thing, i think can help out.
remember, do not choose the cisco router unless they specify u to choose the router. it is a trick questions u will get
many with the different cisco router with
each questions. however they are only 2 questions for the question asking u to choose
which cisco router is used.
and try to write it down the info and the stuff for each case study like orchard, fsi, eic.
so u would not get mix up.they will ask u
different questions but with same objectives
to choose. this is really tricky. just beware ok.
that all i can remember...i could have remember more but it is already a week already and u know.....
helen.

Sirchacha,
Good Luck on you're Friday CCDA exam!
Don't die, at least give us braindumps before you die (JUST JOKING). I don't support braindumps.
I know you're going to pass this time!!!
