Very few people use the Syngress book, most prefer the Cisco press, so you might not see too many comment on it. I browse the Syngress book at the bookstore and it looks good. I bought the Cisco DCN book a week ago and it's also a great book but did not cover ATM at all. ATM might not be tested too much in the CCDA exam but I need to learn it for another exam which I'm studying in conjunction with this exam. To compensate on what's weak on one book is to reseach from the web and other sources. A good practice exam will also help cover some of the holes.
Good Luck!

I was kinda surprised to see ATM LANe and X.25 questions on the CCDA test. They're not that tough, but I hadn't expected them. If you're completely unfamiliar with these topics, it might be good to brush up on the basics.
