I make this post not because I have been asked to make it, but to avoid any potential misconceptions regarding my web site, www.examsites.com.

First, ExamSites is in no way a commercial site. It is a personal project that I have undertaken. The purpose of my site is to direct individuals preparing for various IT certification exams to accurate and helpful resources that will help them prepare for exams.

The concept of the site occured to me when I was jumping from site to site to site - some great and some horrible - preparing for my CCNA exam - during this time, I was a member of the CCNA forum here and used the username "Rico". While preparing for my CCNA, I referred and was referred to specific sites that would help me prepare for various aspects of the CCNA exam - which I passed with a 944.

I get great satisifaction out of helping others. At the present time, I am recovering from 3 spinal surgeries, and my activities are very limited. Given my drive to help others, my desire to feel I am "working" on something, and the enjoyment I get from working "at" web design and learning more about it, I decided to move forward with the development of ExamSites.

This site holds the lead position under "CCNA Forums" on ExamSites and always will because it was such a great benefit to me - Yankee and the "old gang" really helped me out. Techmindworks will always carry the lead position under "Online Exam Preparation" on ExamSites because those guys were so helpful to me as I prepared for my CCNA and because they have a great site, as noted here so often.

Again, I want to be sure that everyone is clear on the fact that ExamSites is not a commercial site. I list CCNA and other exam prep sites on ExamSites as a free service for those preparing for one of the many IT exams out there today.

With this said, I want to thank those of you who have contributed to ExamSites by recommending exam preparation sites to me. I work daily to update the site and add new prep resources.

Thanks and I hope this clears up any potential misconceptions.

Yankee, good to see you're still around giving sound advice and keeping the peace

I welcome each of you to visit my site and continue to submit comments and sites URL's that you discover! I learned from THIS forum that it is by working together that the entire process is made more enjoyable for each of us individually...
