Question

I'm doing a website now, but i am in touble... I remember seeing somewhere in my study for the CIW exam a thing called "absolute positioning" ( when you can effectively put a number of layers on a single HTML page ). I desperatly need to do this now on my website, but i just cant remember how to do it, and i cant find it in any of the books i used for studying ??
I know what it looks like and what it does, just simply cant remeber how to do it !?!

Any ideas ...
