CIW is not a new cert. It has been around for a couple of years (at least). Only lately however has it grown in popularity and become the premier vendor neutral web dev cert. As far as difficulty, It presents progressive levels of certification advancement from foundational to advanced.

To Castletoth,
Do you know any book out there is for CIW exam? I went to B&N, border bookstores and I couldn't find any books related with CIW.
I want to take at look into more detail.
THANK YOU

I don't know of any good study books off-hand, maybe someone else on the forum does who has more experiance with these tests. if there is a lack of 3rd party material now, I think there soon will be some since this cert is gaining in popularity. I know that you can buy a CBT directly from Prosoft to prep for these certs. check out their site at http://www.ciwcertified.com/

Hi Guys,
I am in class now with one of the Prosoft Instructors who actually helps write the exam.... the www.prosofttraining.com site has the recommended books. These guys write the exams and the books too. Go to the shop link and you will find the books and the CBT's. They have also partnered with Prometric training to offer these courses on the web, but the are really pricy... browse the site and check your options. :-)
