Our managment and many others that I know of show liitle or no interest in programming certs at any rate. We've seen too many people who've passed the exams, have the certs, but simply can't cut it in real world computing.

Yes

I'm still studying for and plan on taking this cert. As far as I know it's not a programming language like raventec says. It is about the basics of computers and how they work. I'll let everyone know how it goes and my opinions of the newer exams once I take them this summer. Even though lots of people have this cert, and some probably don't know how to apply their skills in the real world, there is no doubt in my mind that it would look better to have it than not. It certainly can't hurt at any rate.

The only thing that could be considered programming on the A+ would be DOS batch scripting and they didn't have much of that back when I took mine in 2000. Best of luck old bean.
