Question Configuring Server 2003 under VPC 2007

I'm running VPC on my home computer (which is running Vista Business) as an
additional study environment for the 70-290 exam. The internet connection
for my computer uses a dynamic IP. When I initially installed/setup Server
2003, I received a dialog box to set a static IP rather than use a dynamic IP.

My first question relates to the best way to address this - i.e. set a
static IP for Server 2003 running under VPC, while the host computer is
actually on a dynamic IP.

My second question relates installing/configuring a second server (to be
used in practicing remote management of a computer under MMC) under VPC.

Thanks for putting up with this newbee.

Regards,
Charles Putnam

Configuring Server 2003 under VPC 2007. Hmm...

Hi my friend. I have just one question. In your descrpition yoy say that you use VPC 2007 iam guessing that this is (Microsoft Virtual PC 2007) if that is the case then this software doesnt support windows server 2003 as a guest system.

Please clarify your question. Except if I have misunderstood your question, and for that iam really sorry.

It may not officially support it, but it does run on it.
