notched 70-214...
So I made it out of the testing center alive. I scratched out a 720 score to pass the exam. In all honesty, I fully expected to pass with a wider margin but all in all, success.
The one area that I did not score well on dealt with PKI & EFS section. All the other sections I fared much better on so you can do the math heh. For the most part, this test boils down to knowing GPOs, permissions, RAS with a security slant of course.
There were 50 exam questions with a 2 hour time limit. One thing that can help everyone is to go back and read the questions CAREFULLY. I know I saved a few points doing this.
The two main books I used to study out of are...
1) MCSA/MCSE Windows 2000 Network Security Administration by Bill English (Sybex)
2) MCSA/MCSE Training Kit Implementing & Administering Security in a MS Windows 2000 Network by Matthew Strebe (MS Press)
Onto the next adventure...
