RE: Asian doc CD cannot be read in USA???
Dear Ladies & Gentlemen:
My Chinese friend collected a lot of Engineering information & literature for me and burn into a CD in doc format.
But I cannot open it up by double-clicking as it comes up Microsoft Word erro message:
The document name or path is not valid.
Try one or more of the following:
* Check the path to make sure it was ltyped correctly
* On the File menu, click Open. Search for the file using dialog box
Even I use this advice, but I still have problem (same error) most of the time (so far I only succeed one time after I re-start computer several times).
I wonder why Chinese burn CD cannot be opened in USA? and if there is a way to fix it???
Please kindly advise.
Thanks a lot.
