I would appreciate anyone's recommendation on a good wireless broadband router/gateway. It is for a small application, just connecting one pc and making the wireless signal available to one laptop. I figure they probably have 4 eternet ports as a minimum so things can be added later. Thanks in advance.

I have a DLINK DI-624 "super G" it operates at 108Mb/sec over the wireless link. Which kind of overkill for me, and probably overkill for you, but hey you never know...

It also has four ethernet ports. Ummm it is easy to configure like most those home routers. Has a web interface you can log into, decent help file and descriptions. Has firewall features, filters, of DHCP, nat and all the stuff you would expect. Setting up the wireless encryption is fairly striaght forward on it too.

Thanks Chris. I wound up getting a motorola router from Walmart, and the entire job was grueling and nightmarish. At the client's house great things happened such as: the cable modem going out, losing gateways several times, having to reformat one of the computers, short cables stuffed behind an enormous bookcase, and the "EZ" router setup being anything but that - but hey - in the end it all worked I'm going to see if the router will hold up for a week without maintenance, if not, I'll get the model you suggested, thanks.
