ITT Tech and Devry
Does anyone have any experience with these schools? I know what everyone has heard, wondering if anyone is an alumni or current student there

What location and degree? I'm sure the quality varies depending on which location you plan to attend and the degree program. I graduated from DeVry in Columbus, Ohio with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems in 1996. Of course the curriculum has changed a lot since then but I think they do a good job of preparing students for entry-level programming jobs. Almost everyone in my class had a job before graduation.

Knoxville, TN location
Data Communications Bachelors Degree
Computer Networking Associates degree
I am currently a student. I really do like the college, but I can see how people are critical of it. They try to cram so much into one day and give easy grades. But if you read through all the chapters in the book and do all the examples and labs then you really can learn a lot in each class. Unfortunetly, you must do this stuff outside of class as most classes are crammed to get lecture and lab done. You can definetly learn a lot at ITT.
Anyone been to Devry?

I graduated DeVry Tech in New Jersey in 1989. I was laid off yet again on Wednesday. I did also attend one semester at ITT. The bottom line is that education alone will not necessarily open doors. You need experience (internships) and networking (contacts). So study hard, build contacts, and get experience.
