Arrow How Do I??

Attached is a .gif image of a flashing light bulb. I want only the light bulb and not the flashing background.

I tried cropping it but when I tried saving my change, my image editor wouldn't allow me to keep the .gif tag that allowed me keep my light bulb flashing.

Maybe I need a gif optimizer program.
Lets hope I find one before somebody does a search and recommends one to me.

Attachment: light bulb.gif
This has been downloaded 108 time(s).

Arrow Freeware

If you are looking for a .gif editor for me, make sure it's freeware. I am already looking though I'd rather use mags than do internet downloads.

gif images don't appear to be accepted by EN and your background is still showing the white.
My light bulb was flashing, something EN refuses to show.
I will try attaching it privately or I can send you an original copy if you e-mail me here.

Vincent, the lightbulb in your first post does flash.

So what you want, if I understand you correctly, is a flashing lightbulb on a transparent background, as a GIF file?

Yeah,
transparent was the word I never thought of - backgroundless so I could put my flashing lightbulb anywhere.

I know I have been given the answer to this question a few times last year but I have never done it with a moving item.

Insults are not welcome Everetjo.
There are plenty of other people who enjoy my postings if you are not one of them.

I have little interest in being scared away from EN by the likes of your kind.

vincentnl, hello
Have you tried using "Set Transparent Color" in MS Photo Editor? All you need to do is to click the area which you want to look transparent, in your case it is a background around the bulb.
Regards.

Think I will have to look into all this transperancy stuff as it is freeware photo editors I use not the professional ones.

Not to worry.
At least I got responses - transperancy is what I need to look for.
