Since the exam is a composite of the BSCI and BCMSN, you need to study for those exams. The composite test is not really a separate test. The questions are drawn from the databases for the BSCI and BCMSN. You must pass both parts of the exam to pass the exam.

There are not two parts to the exam. The questions are all mixed together and you could get more one one subject then the other. I don't recommend this exam for someone just getting their CCNP for the first time as it potentially covers a wide subject area.

I'm Ready
Hi there,
I must agree to the responses from the seniors , but I have wasted enough time studying BCMSN and BCSI .. and I've more tahn 6 months working expereince in 'em..
I believe these papers are the heart / core of CCNP professional level cisco cert and need / require a certain profeciency and Routing and switching.
So far, I feel I'm confident for my first attempt ..
preparation for PAPER is a lot differnt and more strategic one than implementing a practical solution for Lan and Wan
I've been focused on the exam just because it require competency and knowledge over a wide range of topics.. Many of 'em covered in the field while most of them aren't..
so Please wish me luck ..
yes being impatenit for CCNP
thanx for ur support gurus
paper due next week
