I passed!
Hi,
I just got an email from ISC2 that I made it through. Here is my experience, I study diligently all the 10 domains for last 6 months on average of 1-2hrs a day. I mainly used All in One (great to start with) Official ISC2 Guide (Very comprehensive) and spent sometime on Learn Key and CISSP Guide which I found not that useful. The test itself was very straightforward if you know all the 10 domains.
Bottom line is if you know all 10 Domains then it is very doable!
I would take this chance to Thank You all for being here and sharing your experiences.

CISSP - Passing the Exam!
Congratulations: Did you take your exam in Dubai or Kuwait? I also took the exam on the 24th December and also found out this morning that I had also passed. I read the “All in One” as well as the “Exam Cram – CISSP”, “Advanced CISSP Prep Guide”, the Official (ISC)2 BOK and believe it or not “CISSP for Dummies”. I found all of the books well written and quite straight forward; the Prep Engines were really good with the Advanced CISSP Prep Guide the questions were very difficult but an excellent gauge on how well your study was doing. I read all of these books several times over the past 6 months.
My advice (two cents worth) to anyone who cares to listen, is ‘NOT’ to use the so called “Real Questions”; this is a qualification that you really need to know your stuff. Real world experience and hard study will make you a leader in this field, if you don’t have that then people will know very quickly that you are only a paper consultant, don’t fall into this trap.
The only real way to pass this exam is to really know your stuff, read, re-read, understand and try it out.
Good luck to everyone else who attempts the CISSP.

Hi Greg,
I have taken exam in dubai on 24th NOV. By the way from your photo I guess you were sitting right behind me and was one of the first to leave the exam hall
Let me add up to your advice, as Greg said, read and understand and don't try to find out the easy way to get this CERT!
Again if you put enough time and know the stuff then exam is very doable!
