Implementation Engineer's based in Denver, CO or Rutherford, NJ needed. 100% travel
My company, KForce is seeking solid Implementation Engineers (6 openings) with an MCSE (4.0 minimum required -no exceptions) for opportunities to work contract-to-direct for our client (12 month contract+direct). Client is a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions, applications and related professional services for business interaction management. The company's products and solutions are used by 65% of Fortune 100 companies in 30,000 sites including contact centers, financial institutions, public safety sites, ATC (air traffic control) sites, CCTV (closed circuit television) security installations and government markets.
Ideal candidates must have experience in each of the 6 areas described below:
1. Hardware: need to have fundamental hands-on PC skills such as replacing something, building a box, different drives, etc.
2. Operating Systems: should have a solid comfort level with NT, Win 2k b/c they may need to manipulate the environment
3. Networking: Microsoft TCP/IP; when installing our products they have to work in both data networks and voice networks
4. PBX/ACD/switch: concepts such as call flow, setting up systems, know various major vendors products
5. CTI: This is where the majority of the work they do will be focused. Specific vendors or experience that would be relevant will include the following: AVAYA (CVCT product); Nortel (Symposium); Aspect (Portal) CTI vendors: Geotel/CISCO ICM products, Genesys/Alcatel, Dialogic CT Connect
6. SQL Database: all of the data that the client's products log/generate is stored via SWQL so they need to be able to extract data from within a database. They may not necessarily code, but they need to be comfortable working in databases and getting data out
Local candidates preferred in New Jersey (Rutherford), or Colorado (Denver) only. Our client company is doing very well and the stock is up significantly - very solid firm with future growth.
The candidates must be road warriors b/c travel is 85% mostly throughout the US, but some international. They do not support a specific geographical region, but are deployed as needed. Customer sizes vary but for our hallmark customers we may assign a specific IE to an account. (These would be our top IE’s)
Ramp up time for new employees tend to be around 3-6 months and the client understands that. Implementation Engineers (IE) spend a significant amount of time on ride-alongs, in formal classes learning product and in the Lab and in testing environments, etc.
They have a good support structure in place for people out in the field, b/c they have an internal help desk available virtually 24x7 for people who need technical assistance.
If you have an interest, please send your resume and contact information to:
