Currently studying this one?
Hi,
Is anyone currently studying for this exam?
I've just started to study it I notice that this forum is not very active.
I’m not sure at this point how far I’m going to take my study of security but for now I think it's worth while learning about because these days security is in every IT workers interest not just the security specialist within an organisation.
I hope to see this thread become more active.

Hi,
I have just started studying for this exam. And I came here to see what everybody else is writing.... which looks like bugger all!!
Shame, I would have thought this might have been busy.

I took this exam and I can recommend that the book that I used was the exam cram 2 book. The exam was fairly easy. Make sure you know IPSEC, Group Policies, PKI, and SUS. I work with security everyday so I didn't look at the book for 3 months before I took the exam. Just make sure you know those topics and you will be good.

My plan.
Well I have got the CBT nuggets for 70-214 and I am currently working my way through all the information. The exam doesn't look as hard as I thought it would be.
Basically I am just gonna study, study and study.
I will probably try and take the exam before xmas.

Just noticed that you are an MCSA working on MCSE (+sec I assume) then your Citrix CCA same path as me for starters
Yeah, I agree these exam topics seem not so hard so far.
The security+ exams looks like it would be interesting to study.

I wasn't particularly planning on MCSE + Security as I only need 2 exams for the MCSE and I think I need 3 exams for the + Security.... but I could probably get the MCSA + Security.

Same situation as me, I just need 2 exams for MCSE
70-214
70-220
Is the exam path I’ve decided on
Then all I need to do is CompTIA Security+ for MCSE+Sec and MCSA+Sec
Then I'll do the 2 upgrade exams for 2003 and that also keeps the +sec specialisation
(but I think I will do Citrix CCA before the upgrade of MCSE/MCSA to 2003)

I am just planning to get my 2000 MCSE then concentrate on other certs such as Citrix.
I don't really need MS certs for my job so I am in no rush to upgrade to 2003.
Before you ask, I started my MS certs before I started at this job, I just want to finish what i started.
