trying to wrap up tonight for 217

Folks,

Its been a crazy 2.5 month trying to juggle work, family and 217 prep exam. I will try to attempt exam 217 on Monday or Tuesday this week. Not sure which of the two days yet but will try to refresh and wrap up this tonight (sunday) to see how much i am ready. I feel i am about 80% ready.

Anyone knows the time limit for the exam. I know they will have 40-43 questions. This will be my 6th exam...two more to go 217 and 219..Wish me luck guys..will inform you what happen..

Steven

Good luck my friend.

Just be sure to get decent sleep and be sure to eat something before you test.

Of all of the M$ exams, I thought 217 was the most logical.

thank curiousgeorge for your comments..From the test questions example it is the most logical.. A lot of concept based questions. Kinda feeling some butterfly in my stomach right now..

Last night i went online to Prometric and booked my exam for this Tuesday at 9:30am(central time). Hope all will go well.

thanks John Cena..i will let you know how it goes...anyone know if questions for 217 is around #40-#43 and time limit about 2 hours..trying to get a last feel on this exam here

If I recall it was about 50 questions with plenty of time for 3 minutes or so per question.

good luck

How did it go? Did you pass or did you not. A feedback would be nice after the nice comments. Cheerio

Thumbs up Here are my 217 result..

Ok folks are you ready for the result of my 70-217. Got there 10 min before 9:30am (Central time) due to heavy morning traffic. Sat down and take a deep breathe. Found out there are 43 Questions and about 2 hours. Finish the exam with about 48 min left. Felt good and click the "End Exam" button. Mind you this is my 10 exam taken under prometric and still have the "goose bums" whenever i need to click the find out reuslt button.

My score was 800/1000 with 700 passing score. Not very excited but should be happy with what i got. From the test a lot of DNS and other AD questions. From my reuslt feedback MS told me i need to work on "Troubleshoot DNS for active directory" and "Implement &TB Group Policy", the rest is strong and ok. aah well, i guess need to work on those mentioned.

So far i passed about 6 exams in this order. 210,215,218,216,221,217. I should be certified as "MCSE" when i pass one more next month 70-219. Am i right? Anyone can confirm on these...would appreciated..

Good luck guys, cheers
