PC recycling options
So..what do YOU do with your outdated hardware? What's your favorite option for recycling beyond selling or giving it to Goodwill?

Older hardware? Lemme tell you what i have.
First is my Toshiba Tecra 8000 laptop. PII 366. I use it for school, internet, games, mp3's, Palm desktop...
Then there's my Emachines Celeron 466. It has an onboard ATI Rage Pro, so i use it for games alot along with music and storage. Its my Half-life machine, complete with lambda painted on the side!
My AST 486 laptop! It just kinda sits on the shelf, sometimes i use it for word processing and a bit of Mutiplayer Doom or Abuse.
And lastly my Palm M105. 8mb of storage! I use that for the normal palm stuff plus games when i dont have my laptop handy. Color screen? Psh! Who needs it?!
Im 15 (16 tomorrow!) so money can be hard to come by but my setup is working fine right now! I can't play Halo, but who cares?
Now if only i could get some wireless cards...

You know what's kind of sad. I work at a university. Some of our staff has new machines (3 GHz processors with a gig of RAM) and some of the staff has Pentium II 166 MHz with 32MB of RAM. Every department has their own budget and can spend it on whatever they want. Obviously, some departments don't give a rat's arse about technology.
The only policy we have in place is we will only support computers running Windows 2000 or XP. For the departments that still have W95 (yep, i'm not kidding), W98, or NT, they're on their own.
I have some departments upgrading their 1 GHz computers, so I just give their old computers to the departments who still run the W95 and W98 machines.
Sometimes I miss the days of the corporate world where the IT department can enforce the technology minimums.
