Question Best CBT

The information pertaining to Learnkey and TestOut was informative.
Has anyone tried ProTech Security+ in comparison to CBT Nuggets?
Which one is noted for more in-depth information toward the exam?
Thanks

My opinion

I have not used the learnkey for this exam, but used it for 70-210, 70-215 (Win2k & server) and they were complimentary.

The TestOut CD was quite good and the questions were similar to the exam.

Again, you need a variety of mediums.

How I passed.

On the job knowledge - Security Practices, Implementation of Secure mail system...

Study Guides:
Sybex Book - Fair
Syngress Book - Excellent book but too much info for exam. DVD ok ish.
TCAT PDF - without this you have no chance so get it!
testout.com CD course - Not to bad.
Thompson Prometric Course online - Poor as poor is.
5 day ethical hacking class (UK), was supposed to be a security+ class, but we hacked all week ! Ok.
ExamCram2 - Average.
Audiowhizz.com - Audio CDs - OK for additional input, useful if you like this kinda thing.

Verdict of exam. There were at least 12 ambigous questions and about 10 that I had to guess as I could not understand what they were asking! A very poorly written exam.

Cool

I used the Computer Academy CBT and I would not recommend it for anyone. It was very poor. No diagrams or charts, just a bullet sheet for each topic that the instructer was covering. The lesson tests at the end were good for reviewing what was covered, but bad in that what was covered was grossly inadequate for the test.

The test is weird in that they word questions in such a way that there are simular answers that you might think are correct. You have to study the question and then use the process of elimintation on the items you might think match.

I used the aforementioned CBT, MeasureUp practice test (which did not measure up ) The Transcender Practice test (which was pretty simular to the look/feel of the test, and helped ) The Boson test (#3 which was good) and the Security+ pdf practice test which I found through here. I obtained Tcat's pdf file, but honestly, I didnt read it).

The result of my test (I just got back from taking it...) 780 (764 needed to pass)

now for a day of rest and moving on to Linux+
