I am planing to take Security+ cert and i have the option of getting 2 of these books:
- Security+ Certification by Microsoft
- Knowledgenet Security+
- Security+ Training Guide by Todd King
- Sybex Security Guide by Michael Pastore

Which 2 of these do u think will be efficient for the exam

Personally have heard some ok stuff about Microsoft guide, but the sybex guide in my opinion is a bit light for the exam.
Yes, it has the comptia approved material sticker, but we know that money changes hands with certain certification providers and publishers, no names mentioned to protect the innocent.

Personally, get the TCAT book, on Amazon or get the PDF version for around $20usd.

I also found the Syngress manual very good, but does go over the top on detail, which is not a criticism, but one needs to focus for exam.
