One of the members, I don't just pick threads at random or for no reason.

I don't think that a member reporting a thread should be named. Why should I betray a members anonymity?
The thread was reported and the reason was justified so the thread was closed.

Is this the VLAN thread were talking about????
What possible justification can there be for closing it?? A technical question was asked, and the poster never got an answer he understood - why close it??
There was one Sarcastic comment which may have been taken the wrong way - certainly not sufficient justification.......

Instead of worrying why the thread was was closed. Maybe you could just answer the question by starting a new thread like maybe "answer to vlan ?" or send a Pm to the member whom started the thread. If you are interested in helping.
