Tcat is one of the mods for this forum. He is also the co-author of arguably the best study resource for Sec+.

Here is where you will find more info.

Tcat has done some excellent work for both A+ and Net+ as well. His other redeeming feature is that he is a good guy too

Hard to give advice there I am afraid. I thought my knowledge was sufficient for the exam but I failed by a dozen points. At that stage I had just completed A+ and Net+ in about 4 - 5 weeks and was full of my own self importance
I had studied a couple months for the exam and was hitting 90%+ on every test sim I found (or paid for) but was totally confused by the questions. Unfortunately only the Boson 1 was out then and I only used Tcats free pdf along with the Syngress book.
After studying Tcats full pdf and the CBT nuggets for Sec+ and using Tcats exam sim I am ready for another re-sit.

TCAT is one hell of a guy!

Just get his PDF and read it, read it and read it.

Would recommend going to Amazon to get the book as you get a CD with some good test questions.

He is such a helpful dude!

He will not help you cheat but will instil self-belief.

Rather than a can-do attitude, it is more like a 'have-done' attitude!
