New to forum
Hi everyone,
Just recently found this forum so I thought I would poke my head in and say hi, looks like a lot of good help here.
I am working as a network admin for a mid size company with about 300 users across several locations. Made the career change 3 years ago and really loving it.
In the last 4 weeks I have taken 70-210, 215, 216, 218. Passed all but 216, will try it again on Thursday if ready. I have Exam Cram, Transcender and Sybex study guide for this one so hopefully that should get me ready.

Good to have you aboard, Parbreaker.
4 exams in 4 weeks is good going. I sat 210 & 215 within a couple of weeks.
Good luck with the 216 re-sit

Passed
Took the 216 today and passed! That gets me to MCSA, on to MCSE.
It was 50 questions, about 2 1/2 hours. You just need to know all areas of this test. Lots of DNS, DHCP and RRAS.
I think 221 will be next.

Congrats and nice choice in going for 221 next. I did the same thing and found the 221 exam to be real straight forward.
Outside of getting a feel for the case study format of the exam, you already have the material covered.
Good luck!

parbreaker,
congrats on your pass. I will be taking this exam hopefully by the end of this month. Do you see any subnetting questions. Just curious.as you did not mentioned about it at all in your last post..

Stevenkok,
Looks like you are going the same path I did. Yes, there were two subnetting questions on the test. That was one of my weak points. Like I said, you really need to know all aspects but it seems like they hit DNS, DCHCP and RRAS pretty hard. This was my second time on this one, I think the first one was 60 questions, this one was 50. I used Transcender and CramMaster practice exams. I worked on my weak areas and amazingly on the test actually aced those sections but bombed the protocols section.
