Ccna 801
I have previously passed the 607 exam. A M8 in work is looking at doing the new 801. He has Cisco Press book and simulator software ?
Any recommendations on what he can use (free) to prepare.

I've searched around alot myself for such material(studyguides, notes, tips, and what not), it's been 2 and half months since i dropped that angle and started getting upclose and personal with my lammle and cisco press ccna texts, the lammle book for understanding the concepts, and the cisco press for the configs, i also practice on a live 2501 router, and lastly but certaintly not least get familiar with as many questions as possible, i'm personally going with how2pass.com, which has an excellent bank of questions broken into different categories, and actualtests.com 640-801 practice q's as well.
one thing is for sure, the 801 is alot more harder than the 607, passable, but much harder, just keep that in mind.
