Will 70-216 Count Toward My MCSA?

I'd rather take 70-216 in place of 70-218 because I'll probably go on
to get my MCSE.

I'd still like to get a MCSA in the interim.

Can I take 70-216 in place of 70-218 and still get my MCSA?

Exam 70-218 is required for MCSA 2000. You can use 70-216 as as elective
exam for MCSA 2000.
