Hi All,
I have been working with sql server for 4 years
now, as a developer as well as a DBA. now if i would
appear 4 the MCDBA, how wld it help me ???

The triple threat on a resume is experience, degrees and certs. (possibly in
that order depending on the interviewing person)

Ray,
I'll say this once. Be proud of your achievements, they
belong on your resume. Putting your certifications after
your name is plain tacky unless you're a doctor or
scientist.

and why, in your opinion, is this distinction reserved
ONLY for those professions? What's good for one should
be good for all! BTW, Ray and I are not related that we
know of.
