Excel 2002 Exam
Everyone was correct about the Excel 2002 Exam it was a beast. I took it last night and did not past. I had the Microsoft Press Excel 2002 Step by Step book did not use it but used the DDC training student software only. A order wa placed for the Certiport test CD I do not know if this will help any better. Starting today I will use the Step by Step book start to finish. The test consisted of 14 questions with many sub tasks and 50 minutes to complete. Also receieved an e-mail from Certiport for $10.00 I can get a retest voucher. The test center called and said that I can get a re-take voucher but not sure if there is a fee. Everyone keep taking those test. Good Luck!

Excel 2002 Expert Exam
I have a couple of questions for anyone who has taken the Excel Expert 2002 exam recently.
One had to do with a Grades table with students in the rows and test scores in the columns, with final results for each quarter and then a column for final grade. Each quarterly result and the final exam is weighted by a percentage. here is a supporting table that is used in the calculation of the grade point average, so you have A-F corresponding to 0-4.
You are asked to trace the formula used to calculate one student's final grade, and then change the formula for that grade by changing the weighting factors.
Is this supposed to be done as a scenario? And how did you change the weighting factor for only one student?
In the second question, there is a Sales table with salespeople in the rows and and totals by month in the columns, and a Bonus table with a Sales row and a Bonus row with ranges of sales and bonus amounts across the columns.
You have to match the sales amount for one month for a particular salesperson to the appropriate bonus amount in the bonus table. In the example given there is not an exact match between the total for the month and the sales amount in the Bonus table, so you would have to approximate.
I know I used Hlookup to find the bonus amount, but wanted to check if anyone had a clear memory of what they did for this example.
Thanks.
