Test Tomorrow
OK...it is almost here. I have every intention to go in and FINALLY pass this Sec+ once and for all tomorrow AM.
I feel I have a good knowledge base to tackle the test this time. Although I will admit I thought I was gonna pass it last time lol! I will glace over Tcats PDF a bit this evening just for re-enforcement.
Let you all know tomorrow what I do
Peace~~~~~

Thats fantastic! Can you give us some insight about your test? Ive put in my 2 reads of Sybex, EC2, Tcat and Transcenders so I think I'll be ok. Anything/tips you could share would be great. Again, congratulations.

Thanks for the Congrats!!!! Thanks for the moral support when I didn't pass too!!!
TimS,
I used almost the same materials you did as well. I used Sybex, and Tcats PDF, and the Boson #3 test sim.
Read the questions carefully, as it seems there are more than one right answer to some, but you have to think outside of the box, like, ok I know this is what *I* think it is....but then think what answer would the industry look for overall, you can easily overthink this test. Know your port #'s, tunneling protocols and at what layer of OSI they reside, know access control methods inside and out, the differnt attacks, Know symmetric and asymmetric and their algoritms, PKI,know CA ands how it works. Hit the bold faced print in Tcats PDF, and in Sybex the end of the chapter the exam essentials you'll be rockin' on go!
Best of Luck!!!!!

Ive used Transcenders for all my certs and they haven't failed me yet. But for some reason I'm worried about where I am with this Sec+ exam. 3 tests with the Transcender of 100 questions each with great explanations. I've gone thru all 3 tests and they sure are challenging. I'll go thru them again before I take the exam coming up soon. They are hard questions and I'm embarased to say I'm only scoring in the high 60s on all 3 my first pass. After I do my quick re-read on Sybex and Tcat ExamWise I'll go thru them again.
