I took and passed 70-296 back on 9/22. Its a tough exam. Know your PKI, VSS, Requirements for Clustering/NLB, and did I mention PKI? certutil and certreq to key archive using the command line.
I was impressed with the new format, the accuracy of the questions as they pertain to real world, and the focus on security.

You are right, from what I have seen of the beta exams and the Deployment Guide, a lot more real world issues and concepts have made their way into the exam process. Best of luck on your future evdeavors.

Sorry guys, didnt pass this exam... but I will try again soon!
i do admit, it is a hard exam, but I was glad to see the exams getting a little harder.. Ill let you guys know when I am sitting again..
By the way...this is the first MS exam that i have failed...do it did make it a little bad day.....
