I need your help to pass the CCNA exam !
hello !
I failed to the exam last week with 834/1000
Here is my exam report :
bridging & switching : 71%
OSI model & Layered communication : 100%
Routed protocols : 100%
Routing Protocols : 88%
WAN services : 66%
Network Management : 50%
LAN technologie : 50%
Cisco & Network basics 50%
I used CISCO Press :CCNA exam certification guide of Wendell Odom and the software accompagning the book.
Now I need some exam simulators and net simulator software to review some topics .
My problem is that I have not Credits Card nor enough money to buy these software. I'm in West AFrica (at TOGO).
Please help me !
thanks !

heres my advice, study all the areas you got less then 80% in and then retake the exam. Otherwises, dont beg for materials.
Work on:
Bridging & switching
WAN services
Network Management
LAN technologie
Cisco & Network basics

You didn't mention which version of the exam you took, but unless you have already registered to take 640-607, you will be taking the new 640-801 the next time around. Even though the exam has changed, the book you have should provide you with enough information for 80 - 90 percent of the exam. Study the areas where you did poorly until you feel confident with the concepts and the content. After you feel confident with the material at hand, you will need to augment your study materials somewhat. The new exam may include questions about OSPF, EIGRP, and VLSM. You can find quite a few sample configurations for OSPF and EIGRP on the Cisco website. This material is free, all you have to do is locate it and download it. Cisco also has some free information on subnetting that may prove useful to you. I take on several interns every year from a local technical school, and the biggest problem the majority of them encounter is subnetting.

There are many sites that offer exam related questions that you can use to gauge your readiness to re-take the exam. Trying to find these sites amongst all the braindump and exam cheat sites can be trying, but if you look long enough you will find some good ones. I believe that there are also some sites out there that offer free practice simulations.
I have personally never cared for the Cisco Press books very much. They seem to work well as references once you understand the material, but do a poor job of teaching it. Buying a new book for the 640-801 exam (when they become available) might be a good investment. The Sybex books come with a CD containing questions and some limited simulation materials.
Good Luck
