H&R Block - Income Tax Training Course
Has anyone ever taken the Income Tax course offered by H&R Block. I am planning on registering for it today and hopefully be taking the classes from tommorrow. The course is $266 CDN and and runs for 11 weeks with an exam at the end.
Here is more information on the course...

If anyone has taken this course, please let me know your perspective on it. Also, how is the tax field in NY, are there plenty of jobs for it? And finally, what would be the next logical step education wise after this course is complete?
Thank you.

I took it several years back.....worked for them for 2 years....... guess you could make a career of it...... otherwise it is just good personal info......unless you want to take it one step farther and open your own tax service.....you can even apply with IRS to be able to electronically file the returns you prepare... but beware it is kinda like knowing computers...you will be stopped at the grocery store...kids ball games etc.....for FREE advice...
Good Luck
