How long does Mike Meyers' book take to read?

Hi,

RE: A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide

This may seem like a daft question, but my employer will be buying the
book and letting me put an afternoon a week aside to study, so I need
to know roughly how many hours it will take.

Also, can anyone recommend any good Flash Cards in the style of the
tests, or free online A+ test exams?
I tried a few of the links suggested here, but got drowned by pop-ups
a few times.

Thanks, Chobb

If you can read 100 pages a night approximately which isn't too unreasonable
then it will take you about 12 days to read the book. You will need to
re-read a few sections maybe to master the subject though. It all depends
on your experience with computers and if you understand what he is talking
about. If you are talking about hours of study to pass the test then there
is a table in the front of the book in which mike goes over the exact study
time it should take on average based on your experience level. When you get
the book you will be able to figure it out on your own.

I've read the whole thing cover to cover in about 2 weeks. I still have a
few chapters to go, but I took a few days off. I think it all depends on
how much you currently have mastered. I already know most of the stuff in
the book, so I can breeze through it ... however if you are new to this
stuff it could take considerably longer.
