long print delay
Hi, I hope someone can help, im having problems, printing, when i click "print" i have to wait approx 30secs for the Print dialog box to appear, this happens in all programs as far as i can tell, But it only seems to happen on about 9 pc's on the network of 14
i have not made any changes to the system recently, and have all pc's and server protected with up to date Sophos Anti virus, plus Soho Watchguard Firewall.
Config:
Mixed Pc's Win 2K / Win XP Pro (problem on both)
Win 2000 Server.
All Service Packs Up to date
Thanks for any help

There are a couple of things you can do.
- Restart the spooler service on your server
- Purge the print que
- Check the "Print Directly to Printer box"
- Reinstall the print drivers on the server
- Kick the server till your toes turn purple
