It depends on the manufacturer. ATI is pretty good, I
have about twelve hundred Radeon VEs in a school
district. In the last year, I can only remember two or
three that died.

Deppends on the brand, but even bad brands dont go bad vary often. if
you have problems it's more often than not the monitor of drivers.
